FS 180 Who are you, how old are you, and where are you from? I’m Alex Moran, AKA “Paisa Boy”. I’m 17 and from San Jose, CA. 408 baby. What was it like growing up and skating in San Jose? San Jose has one of the best skate scenes in my opinion. All the older homies from out here are a huge inspiration and have been killing it for years. They definitely put San Jose on the map, and inspire me to do big things with skateboarding. Who do you ride for? NC Boardshop in Los Gatos, CA. They hold it down! Do you have any projects or video parts you’re working on? I’m currently working on a welcome part for NC. When you’re not skating what are you doing? When I’m not skating, I’m either at parties with the homies, or kickin’ it at the Toga pad. What’s a typical day in the life of Alex like? Wake up, take a piss, make some soyrizo with tofu, and OJ, watch some skate videos, hit up my local park, Red Park. Then meet up with the homies to hit the streets and stack clips How do you feel about the direction skateboarding has been going recently? Honestly I feel like skateboarding is a bigger thing now than it was before, and that it is more accepted. But at the same time, I’m only 17, and don’t really have too much to say on it. What do you love about skateboarding? That you can be as creative as you want with it and that there’s really no right or wrong way to do things. You have the freedom to do what you want, how you want. Shout outs/ Thank yous? First and foremost goes out to my mom, I wouldn’t be who I am without her. All the San Jo homies for keepin’ it G, the Toga boys, my filmer Jake. And last but not least, Sus Pup, AKA Aaron Pettigrew for always coming through with the sauce flicks, love you G.
