Nina Guerrero, medicine student in UANL, coursing her 4th year, with excelent grades, and working ar the Hospital Universitario, tells Supporting You: Skeleton about the skeletal system's disorders.

1. Do you have any tips for people with skeletal system's disorders?

A: Avoid eating foods causing osteopenia like sodas, and during their youth to work out and consume calcium.

2. What do you consider to be the worst disease for the skeletal system and why?

A: Imperfetc osteogenesis because it is destined to multiple fractures.

3. Do you known anyone with skeletal system diseases?

A: No.

4. Is it possible to live with a broken bone?

A: Yes it is possible and you can have a good life as well.

5. What do you think is the most important bone?

A: Atlas.

6. What are your recommendations for people trying to heal a broken bone?

A: Paralize the affected limb and place a plaster or a ferule. But i think the best thing to do is to see a doctor so he can analyze your case.

7. What are the recommendations for the prevention of most common skeletal system disorders?

A: Consume a good amount of calcium, recieve sunlight to get vitamin D, work out so the skeletal system gets stronger, and administrate supplementary vitamins for postmenopausal people and third age people.
