“ There is a lot of footage, we may release some of it as bsides or something like that...” How was the response of the public at the premiere in Berlin? I was really blown away by the turnout, we organized the premiere in a dirty underground cavern club called Freudenreich it is made up of several different dark rooms and one large cavern where we rigged up a makeshift screen with some bedsheets and built some kind of device to hang the projector from the roof. The guys at the club really helped out a lot and we had some of the best DJs in Berlin playing in the various rooms after the premiere. We held on for a long time to play the video and as we pressed the play button, we looked around the room and the 160 seating spaces we set up were not only occupied but every standing space in the room was crammed, About 300 people squeezed in somehow. As a last minute decision we found Paul Labade who had just come from playing Phil Zwijsen’s time Lapse which he had just produced, and as a suprise banged it out first. Then we dropped Get The Fucking Beers in Dickhead and it really spoke for itself. The crowd were very vocal and everyone left with a massive smile on their face, apart from those who blacked out from being too drunk and getting promptly escorted out by the very understanding bouncers :)
