Tell us a bit about how this adventure was born...BonBon skateboards
is a relatively new company. How did the idea of starting this company
come about? Why is it called Bonbon?
Well, BonBon was born three years ago, when me and Daniel Turcer have
decided to create something, where we can express how we think about
skateboarding and this culture, and maybe to put our ideas how should it
looks according to us. So we decided to run this company and to make our
ides real.
I think it was just very easy when we were thinking about the brand name
hehe. Some ideas were put on paper and BonBon sounds best.
The boards are of various sizes...which are going on the market more
and which do you prefer?
Yes, we got 7,75" 7,875" 8,0" 8,25" 8,5". I think that now is trend to ride
something around 8". When I was younger I remember that everybody
rides much smaller decks. I mean that from 7,5" till 7,75" were mostly riden. I
remember that Daniel got 7,4" deck hehe.
Now I am mostly recording and photshoting because I got some injury with
my ankle and I am not allowed to ride now... So I am riding huge 8,5" deck
with big wheels for recording, and its also good because no rock will stop
you hehe.
