Al B7 Trip to Dublin
In the afternoon we went with Cecilia. She gave us a sightseeing tour of the city. Among other things, we discovered a fantàstic“ clubbing zone” where the Temple Bar stands out.
Finally we went to the Liffey river and the Ha’ Penny bridge. The skyline was so nice that we couldn’ t stop taking photos.
Yes, we went to a pub to spend some time all together although only the 18 years old could drink Beer. The others talked about the day, and I think that more than one had a secret sip at a guinness.
DAY 2
When we finished breakfast, we went by bus to Powerscout Gardens in county Wicklow. There we visited all the gardens, huge! From there we went to Glendalough, a very old valley. We saw the Round Tower and Saint Kevin’ s Church – what remains
of it. Then we walked to the lake. Mountains and water all mixed up. I think that none of us will ever forget that amazing view. On our way back to the hostel, one of us took the guide’ s mic and made the sound of a hen. What a fantàstic flora and fauna Ireland has!
Dinner time. The food was delicious and the musicians in the streets of Temple made the night even more pleasant. We went back to the Irish pub. Traditional Irish music captivates you. Downstairs there was a group of students dancing traditional songs, but we couldn’ t dance with them. Finally we went to the hostel and spent time together playing and talking.
DAY 3
The third day we woke up pretty early to pack our suitcases and have a quick breakfast, since it was our last day in Dublin. We went to Trinity College to visit its library, which is stunning. It has the famous Book of Kells exposed inside. Then we went for a walk and we saw the typical houses of Dublin, with their brick façades and their typical coloured doors. We crossed St. Sephen’ s Green Park and later we saw
