Was he Dead?____________________
It was a dark night in England, 1867.
Alice Jenkins was working in the hospital, her turn was at night and she was truly alone. She
was taking care of the ill people, but she had a dark secret. She worked in a group of tomb
stealers; and at midnight, her group of thieves came to the hospital every day to steal the
bodies of the people who died recently. The group components were Claire Cox , John
McDonald, Ramarovic and Sandu Velkan.
So, that night, her group of thieves came to steal the bodies to take them to their laboratory.
They worked with them, the took their organs and then they experimented with the bodies
and organs.
Alice put them in a corpse bag and waited for her group to come to take the bodies. Alice
waited outside and the group came and took the bodies. Alice waited for another nurse to
take her turn. She told the hospital that she was ill and she needed to go home and stay in
her bed for a while; but of course it was a lie and she went to her group’s lab to experiment
with the dead people.
The lab was far away from the hospital, so she spent a lot of time walking to the lab. The
group was waiting for her, so when she arrived to the lab, they opened the bags with the
corpses. John took one body and left it on the stretcher. Everyone was working on
something: Claire was looking for alcohol, John was looking for a cutter, Ramarovic was
smoking while he was reading on a couch that was in the lab, Sandu was outside with the
dog and Alice was taking care of the corpse.
When they all finished what they were doing, they all started working with the corpse.
Suddenly, the body moved a hand. The group thought that probably it wasn’t anything,
maybe that the bed moved or someone touched the body without wanting to.
When Alice was about to cut the corpse’s torso, the dead person opened his eyes. Alice was
scared, they were taking care of a zombie!
