We all know that friends are (in most of the cases) more important than family, hanging out with them is the ultimate concern, but think about this: Are they the ones that take care of you since you were born? Are they the ones that accept you no matter how you screwed up?

Your family is the only group of people that you can really trust, they will never ever talk behind your back, they will always support you, take care of you, love you. Get to know that your family should be the most important thing in your life; you should take care of them and appreciate what they do for you, because no one has the obligation to do so. Love your family for what it is and forget about what it’s accepted by society. Married or not, mono-parental, with brothers or not, your family is your family and it is unique as so you are, because as Michael J. Fox once said, “Family is not an important thing. It's everything.”

•Ask for advice. As surprising as it sounds, advice is the best thing you can ask to your parents. Yeah, I’ve asked for advice and did completely the opposite, but that is a different thing. Ask for their opinion and be open to what they have to say, they will surely guide you to the right pad.

•If you have little brothers, TALK TO THEM, they also have problems and concerns, and it is probable that they will have more confidence with you, the bond between brothers is awesome and is probably one of the gifts of life.
