Outside, the Subaru Outback features a brand new and innovative
roof rail system with integrated swing-in-place crossbars that allow
for the quick and easy loading of gear. The crossbars move out of the
way when not in use, helping to boost fuel efficiency and lower wind
noise. Other new exterior features include fully automatic headlights
and, of course, the aggressive stance created by the more prominent
front and rear fenders, powerful front grille, standard fog lights and
17-inch alloy wheels. More importantly, the new Outback has higher
