why it’s worth it
The benefits of synthetic oil
Comparing synthetic motor oil to regular mineral motor oil is a little like comparing regular
table wine with fine vintage wine. On the surface, they may both look the same, but dig a
little deeper and the differences become obvious.
Synthetic oil has many advantages: It flows better at low temperatures, offers
exceptional protection at higher operating temperatures, reduces wear and tear on the
engine, and protects against harmful deposits and overheating. Let’s look at each one
of these individually:
1. Easier flow at low temperatures
Most of the damage and wear and tear on an engine takes place at cold start – the colder
the start, the more damage occurs. It’s actually quite simple, as oil gets colder it gets more
viscous and thicker, which can then take longer to reach every part of the engine. Since
we’re all busy people, we don’t usually take the time to let our engine wake up properly
and idle for a minute or two when we first start it up on a stone cold morning. Synthetic oil
is made especially for busy people, even in very cold Canadian temperatures. Synthetic oil
will get to all the parts of the engine in record time making sure that proper lubrication is
available as soon as possible.
Recommended equipment for the
world’s high performance automobiles
It’s more than just a car - it is an all-road, all-weather, all-conquering performance machine.
The 300 horsepower Subaru WRX STI is based on the technology that goes into the legendary Impreza
FIA World Rally Championship car, which has dominated rally courses through every type of road and
weather condition imaginable. There is only one oil equal to this magnificent machine – Mobil 1.
Mobil 1 is recommended fill in all Subaru vehicles, and other incredible automobiles. Visit www.mobil1.ca
