SUBARU BOOSTS SUPPORT FOR
CANADIAN RALLY PARTICIPANTS
In advance of the 62nd season of the Canadian Rally Championship
(CRC), Subaru Canada has announced its strongest contingency
and rally purchase programs yet. These programs are engineered
to strengthen rallying in Canada by encouraging both existing
competitors and those looking to enter the sport for the first time.
The enhanced Subaru Contingency Program provides more
financial incentive opportunities for the 2018 season. All registered
Subaru participants will be eligible for payouts by simply starting a
national CRC event, with additional payouts also awarded for the top-
six Subaru finishers at each event, regardless of their overall finish. The
program will also see payouts at the conclusion of the season for the
top Subaru drivers in the championship standings.
The Subaru Canada Rally Car Purchase Rebate Program provides
even more financial assistance to CRC competitors. Open to Canadian
residents holding current and valid CRC licences, this all-new program
provides approved applicants a one-time rebate of up to $10,000 off
the purchase price of any 2017 model year or newer Subaru vehicle.
For more information on both of these exciting programs, visit the
Canadian Association of Rally Sport (CARS) website at carsrally.ca.
“With such a rich rally history, we wanted to find a way to support
enthusiasts at the grassroots level,” said Subaru Canada, Inc. Chairman,
President a nd CEO Yasushi Enami. “We think these two programs will
do exactly that by encouraging more people to get involved in the sport
in Canada—and helping them keep at it.”

At Subaru, we share a love for the open road with our customers
across Canada. Like you, we yearn for adventure, great or small. And we
love the sense of freedom that’s built right into a vehicle with genuine
go-anywhere capability.
Now, we’re taking things one big step further by updating the Subaru
Mobility Program, a program dedicated to supporting Subaru customers
with medically recognized physical disabilities.
Through the Subaru Mobility Program, customers may receive a
one-time reimbursement of up to $750 for the installation of special
equipment such as hand and foot controls, pedal extensions, turn-signal
modifications and left-hand gear shifters.
For complete details on the Subaru Mobility Program, including
eligibility requirements, please visit subaru.ca. And for a truly inspiring
story on how one hardcore customer modified his Subaru Outback for
more adventure, check out our Star Customer Ron Kirk in this issue.
