The Arctic has always held a special place for me. I spent
much of my childhood travelling the tundra, the mountains and
the deltas of Nunavut with my family. I’m grateful for having
had the opportunity to explore and learn from the landscape
and the animals. There’s a saying that, after just a few seasons
spent in the Arctic, you catch what’s called the “Arctic Bug”—an
affliction that leaves you with a lifelong yearning for adventure.
