In addition to the new Velodrome,
confirmed the availability of several top minor league
players. Canadian athletes committed or highly
tipped to compete include NBA player and Toronto
native Andrew Wiggins, four-time Olympic medalist
in kayak-sprint Adam Van Koeverdan, Olympic
Champion trampoline gymnast (and
Pan Am Ambassador) Rosie MacLennan, and
Canadian diving’s “Fab IV”: Roseline Filion,
Jennifer Abel, Meaghan Benfeito and Pamela Ware.
On the Parapan Am side, attendees will be
excited to see swimmer Benoit Huot, one of
Canada’s all-time most decorated Paralympic
athletes, and Paralympian and former World
Champion Jaye Milley, a track cyclist and quadruple
amputee, who is expected to be racing in the new
Cisco Milton Pan Am/Parapan Am Velodrome. In
all, athletes from 41 countries are expected to
compete in Toronto this summer.
Attendees will take in the excitement firsthand at
the many excellent Toronto-area venues. In addition
to the new Velodrome, athletes will compete at more
than 30 locations across southern Ontario, the jewel
