ow available on select 2020 Subaru models, SUBARU
STARLINK® Connected Services is an in-vehicle
technology system that connects your vehicle to the world
around you. Utilizing an on-board cellular connector
and linked to the MySubaru App through your enabled
smartphone, the system allows you to control and monitor
your Subaru at all times.
This unique range of services is organized according to
four different types of benefits—safety, security, convenience
and concierge—and has a wide range of features that Subaru
owners will quickly come to appreciate.
You can, for example, start your Subaru remotely through
the app, lock or unlock the doors and set the climate control.
You can even locate your vehicle with a GPS-enabled map
that’s sent to your smartphone. You can also set vehicle
alerts, which trigger notifications if your vehicle leaves a
predetermined area, goes beyond the speed limit or breaks
a time curfew.
To better guard your Subaru in the event of theft,
there’s a Vehicle Security Alarm Notification function and a
Stolen Vehicle Recovery with Immobilizer feature. SUBARU

STARLINK® Connected Services utilizes GPS tracking and a
dedicated representative works directly with police services
to locate a stolen vehicle as quickly as possible.
Over and above all else, safety is at the very core of
the SUBARU STARLINK® Connected Services offering.
If an airbag happens to deploy, the Advanced Automatic
Collision Notification feature alerts a representative, who
can then send assistance, if required. The red “SOS” button
in the vehicle’s overhead console also connects you to a
representative who can then share your precise location
with emergency services personnel, if need be.
This unique suite of services is available on a free, three-
year trial subscription on certain trim levels of the 2020
Subaru Crosstrek, 2020 Subaru Forester, 2020 Subaru
Impreza, 2020 Subaru Legacy and 2020 Subaru Outback.
