A road trip with young children is like a high-wire act where the slightest stumble sends the artist tumbling to the ground and the audience (read: the children) screaming uncontrollably at the sight. The Gaspésie, as the region is known in la langue française, is home to the famous Roche Percé, a massive limestone rock off the coast with a hole “pierced” through it. Like the Rockies, moose or Peggy’s Cove, la Roche Percé holds a central place in Canadian iconography.
