taking four weeks with most other
digital production studios, Big Block’s
completes its process in about four
hours. An agency can pick favourite
takes and head home satisfied that all
the virtual stunt driving is complete in
a single afternoon. Pretty good for a
half-day’s work.
Of course, this is just the start of the
magic making. Once the raw footage is
shot, Big Block applies special effects
such as smoke, lighting and layering to
produce the final product. From start
to finish, it’s an 8-week process — and
it was worth every moment.
