New to event development this season was Iron Girl in Grimsby, Ont. and the new host site of IRONMAN Canada in Whistler, B.C. IRON GIRL CANADA The inaugural Degree Iron Girl Canada All-Women’s Triathlon presented by Shoppers Drug Mart launched August 11, partnered with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. The race took place at Nelles Beach Park in Grimsby, Ont. – just an hour away from Toronto – friendly bike – and a 5 km spectator-lined run course.
