According to the regulations of the Monterrey Urban Development Plan and the Partial Urban Development Program of Tec taken into account for the designing and construction of the Learning Hub is defined as an Urban Sub-center zone that allows for construction of the parking lots 1 drawer per 20m2.
The drawers for parking cars in battery, will each measure at least 5.00m x 2.70m and arranged parallel to the traffic corridor or in cord, shall measure each at least 6.00m x 2.70m.
It will be permitted only 25% of the parking lot for compact cars and 75% for the regular size cars.The access to the parking area shall be at least 3.00 wide when used in a running direction and when used in a double direction the minimum width shall be 6.00m.
For multiple levels parking lot the free height of the floors must be minimum on the first floor of 2.65m and on the other floors of 2.20m.
They must respect a maximum slope in ramps of 15%, having to insert a minimum straight transition between ramp and floor of 6% in a minimum distance of 3.60m.
Curved traffic corridors must have a minimum turning radius of 7.50m towards the axis and a minimum free width of 3.50m.
