Sirusho is one of the most acclaimed and accomplished Armenian singers.
Despite her young age she has managed to stay a leading Artist in the Armenian music industry for over 20 years.
After winning the hearts of fans worldwide with her Eurovision song ’’Qele-Qele’’ in 2008, the song soon became a hit on European charts!
Representing her country with an exceptional voice and culture, it was no wonder that her fame was destined to grow with time. Sirusho’s next big accomplishment was 3 nominations at the World Music Awards, for her ‘’Pregomesh’’ song.
Growing up in a family of artists, Sirusho started her career at the age of 7. She received her first musical award at the age of 9 and recorded her first album at just 13.
After Sirusho’s huge success at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008, her music expanded its cultural horizons. She received countless offers to collaborate resulting in recording songs with other popular European artists, such as Sakis Rouvas from Greece, Boaz Mauda & Jelena Tomasevic.
After her grand solo concert at the Nokia Theatre (currently Microsoft Theater) in LA California, Sirusho started working on a new album, followed by a tour. The release of her 5th studio album ‘’Armat’’ (meaning ‘Roots’) in 2016 became a new symbolic chapter in Sirusho’s career. This album is a unique tribute to Armenian musical culture, where Sirusho perfectly combines traditional instruments with modern beats and sounds, showing the world a whole new aspect of Armenian music.
Before the lockdown connected with the Covid-19 Sirusho was traveling around the world with her Armat Tour, sharing with the world what it’s like to love, sing & celebrate the Armenian way. So far “Armat Tour” has been to Australia (Sydney), Canada (Toronto, Montreal), France (Léon, Arnouville), Netherlands, Belgium, Lebanon and the USA (Boston, New Jersey), UAE. (Dubai, Abu Dhabi) and Latvia (Jūrmala).
