Introduction
The STYC 2016 Toolkit serves to bridge the knowledge gap that might be present
amongst the delegates. This toolkit will consist of write-ups that present the various
sentiments of the community about issues that the community holds close to its
heart.
This Toolkit will provide the knowledge needed for the delegates to discuss and come
up with recommendations for these issues. It will also contain the opinions of experts
who have experience in the domain. This toolkit will be a concise yet thorough
document containing information about the Singapore Tamil community.
7 youths across fields have been selected to craft the write-ups for the 16 issues being
discussed in the conference. These youths will collate statistics and opinions of experts
relevant to the issue and present them in a digestible manner.
The academic panellists serve as mentors and advisors for the Toolkit Authors
providing invaluable guidance in shaping the write-ups. The Toolkit will also be a part
of the Youth Manifesto.
