You can visit Peranakan Museum and take a walk
on the pedestrian around Armenian Street when the
Singapore Night Festival takes place. There will be
plenty of mesmerizing light installations and highly
authentic art and culture performances. Singapore
Night Festival runs from 7.30 am till midnight. Wear batik clothing or sarong kebaya every first
Sunday of each month at Peranakan Museum, and
joins in this program. Participating in Straits Family
Sunday also offers you an in-depth exploration into
the Peranakan culture. In this program, you and
your family are invited to make craft art and tour the
various galleries with specific themes. It is totally
free of charge! Every month, Straits Family Sunday
offers a different theme. The following themes are
available until the end of the year:
Peranakan Museum also holds Meet-the-Maker
workshop on design and photography when
Singapore Night Festival takes place. You can also
work on your craftsmanship and create something
of your own and take vintage-style photos there!

HOW TO GET THERE
To reach this destination, you can take the MRT
and get off at City Hall MRT Station or Bras Basah
MRT Station and then take a short walk for about
10 minutes. This museum opens daily, starting from
10.00 am.
Foreign Citizens and Tourists are charged $13 for
the entrance fee, whereas Foreign Students and
College Students are charged $9.
Note: Armenian Street will be closed
temporarily due to construction until April
2019. You can still take a walk around and get
to Peranakan Museum and the Singapore Night
Festival will still take place. For those of you
who drive private vehicles, you can access
Coleman Street or Loke Yew Street.
