This is truly a place for everyone with adventurous

get a taste of Peranakan signature dishes, Glory
Catering would be the place to go. Established in
1954, this place offers various Peranakan styled
snacks – known as Nyonya Kueh. These treats,
such as kueh koswee, apom bokwa, kueh dadar,
ondeh-ondeh, or putri salad are a must try for you.
The snacks are made from rice flour or sticky rice
flour mixed with tapioca flour, coconut milk, and palm
sugar. In addition to Peranakan signature snacks,
Glory Catering also offers spices-filled cuisines, such
as Authentic Padang Rice and Boiled Noodles.
Laksa, or Katong signature noodle soup with
coconut milk can be sampled here. The gravy is
cooked together with coconut milk and various herbs
and spices, thus creating a rich vibrant taste. A bit
reddish in color, Laksa is usually paired with shrimp,
shellfish or fish cakes.

street toward the Junction of Tembeling Road and discover
Kim’s Place Seafood. Established in 1965, Kim’s Place Food
was relocated to Joo Chiat Place in 2003. The famous and
legendary dish served here is Hokkien Prawn Mee (shrimp
fried noodle), which is a fried noodle served with thick and
rich shrimp broth. The shrimp broth is made out of pork bone
and shrimp head. Combined with squid, chops of pork belly,
and eggs, this hokkien noodle is decadent and tasteful. In
addition, Singapore’s signature Nyonya Sauce and Chili Crab
