As indicated by the name, 328 Katong Laksa is famous for their laksa dishes. It has affordable price and offers outdoor seating area. This is truly a place for everyone with adventurous palate. Another destination for those of you who want to get a taste of Peranakan signature dishes, Glory Catering would be the place to go. Established in 1954, this place offers various Peranakan styled snacks – known as Nyonya Kueh. These treats, such as kueh koswee, apom bokwa, kueh dadar, ondeh-ondeh, or putri salad are a must try for you. The snacks are made from rice flour or sticky rice flour mixed with tapioca flour, coconut milk, and palm sugar. The shrimp broth is made out of pork bone and shrimp head. Combined with squid, chops of pork belly, and eggs, this hokkien noodle is decadent and tasteful.
