“ Every work of art answers the question of what art is ,” Romas continues , stating that art thrives on originality . As a Queer filmmaker , he is certainly familiar with the importance of pushing at the boundaries of art and expression . After coming out as gay back in 2011 , following the release of his short film Porno Melodrama , Romas certainly stood out .
