ministers to his parishioners,
he teaches his High School
students, he is a loving husband
and father to his family and
he successfully participates in
triathlons and sets the example
for his competitors to emulate.
Born on an Air Force
Base, Pastor Hester who is
affectionately called “Scout”
was called to the ministry in
1991. Yielding to God’s will
he proceeded to help build
and establish Les Cheneaux
Christian Fellowship Church, in
Cedarville, Michigan a resting

place/safe haven whose mission
is be a channel of blessings to
the community, region, state and
nation. Such an appropriate and
relieving mission for a church
that is strategically located near
Lake Superior, Michigan, that
connects 36 channels around
the island. Scout and his wife
Davine have been pastoring
at Les Cheneaux Christian
Fellowship for several years and
have tremendously impacted the
area by being a beacon of truth,
grace, understanding, love,
kindness and selfless service.
Scout and Davine have two
children Joshua, an exemplary
warrior for the Lord, and Hope,
who is just like her name a true
blessing from the Lord.
In his spare team Scout
competes in triathlons. Always
an avid runner and competitor,
Scout switched to participating
in triathlons upon the
recommendation of a friend,
