your mother. Now, you’re dealing with
adultery and fornication and the urges
are so strong it’s hard to stop on your
own. The second thing you must do
is repent. Third, you must renounce,
bind, and rebuke or release yourself
and the generations after you.
Here are some Scriptures that can
help you identify and understand
your authority over these demons.
Christians are simply held under
bondage because we often times do
not know how to fight. “The word of
God is sharper than any double-edged
sword, it penetrates even to dividing
soul and spirit, joints and marrow: it
judges the thought and attitude of the
heart.” (Hebrews 4:12) If we would
just read the Word of God and allow
it to teach, rebuke, correct and train us
in righteousness we would understand
the power and the authority that we
have over the enemy (2 Tim 3:16).
Christ redeemed us from the curse of
the law by becoming a curse for us, for
it is written: “Cursed is everyone who
is hung on a pole.” (Galatians 3:13)
Live a righteous life.
Roman 8:1 “Therefore, there is now
no condemnation for those who are in
Christ Jesus.”
Put on the full armor of God.
Ephesians 6:11 “Put on the full armor
of God, so that you can take your
stand against the devil’s schemes.”
God’s unfailing love will cover us.
Exodus 34:6-7 “And he passed in
front of Moses, proclaiming, “The
LORD, the LORD, the compassionate
and gracious God, slow to anger,
abounding in love and faithfulness.
Maintaining love to thousands, and
forgiving wickedness, rebellion and
sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty
unpunished; he punishes the children
and their children for the sin of
the parents to the third and fourth
generation.”
Repeat after me:
“I now renounce, break and loose
all the curses that have been handed
down to me from my ancestors and I
loose myself and my future generations
from bondage. In the mighty name of
Jesus I pray, Amen.”
