Simply Elevate writer Acquilla Faye aka Ms. Semevou
comes to us from Greensboro, NC. She is a loving
mother who adores the responsibility of raising
children. She entered the professional world as an
educator, writer, and community activist with the
mission of helping youth develop to their greatest
capacity. God has blessed her with many talents to
serve in the realms of education, entertainment, and
nonprofit community outreach which have developed
into a diversified approach for inspiring others.
Sr. Fashion Writer Denisha Locke (ShA) comes to
us from Tennessee. She has lived in New York City
where she worked with some of the BEST in the
fashion industry. She found her passion for fashion at
the age of 4 and was greatly influenced by her greatgrandmother who was an accomplished seamstress.
“ShA” as she is affectionately called, is a proud
mother of a beautiful little girl. She has an amazing
testimony which she shares through her speaker
platform. She brings vitality to the magazine via her
chic style and warm personality.
Adrian Jamal Grimes is an open-minded, ever loving young man raised
in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is the son of a guidance counselor and
a Drill Sergeant of the U.S Army; therefore having structure in his life
has always been an expectation. Adrian majored in Journalism at
North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University in hopes to
become a radio personality. Here he became involved in the arts. He
worked as an intern with 102 JAMZ and was also a cohost of a college
Hip-Hop show which aired via 103.1 WUAG on the campus of UNCGreensboro. He is a father, counselor, mentor, teacher student and
artist. He is one of a kind and knows without doubt that God has a
plan for his life.
Sr. Staff Writer Jeffrey Moore is an upcoming Christian
author who comes to us from Oklahoma City, Ok.
He is coming on board as a Sr. Staff Writer for Male
Perspectives. He enjoys being outdoors and spending
time with family and friends. He has developed a
close relationship with our creator and continues to
pursue God’s calling by devoting his life to Christ and
embracing everything God has in store for him. He
helps other adults to discover who they are in Christ
by helping them find their purpose and allowing them
to heal through God’s written word.
