In today’s society,
many of us are
chasing after
something new and improved. In fact, when the newest, latest,
greatest, design of anything is introduced to the public, most of
us must have it. We feel as if we cannot live without it. We trade
in what we already have under the assumption that new is always
better. When a new cell phone comes out, we get an upgrade.
However, when it comes to God’s design for courtship and marriage,
there is no latest and greatest. God gave us a blueprint at the
beginning of creation and it will never change. It’s the same today as
it was yesterday, and it won’t change tomorrow. It was meant for us
to use as an example. I believe that God knew our existence would
