The Haves and The Have Nots
Commentary by: Ryan O’Neal Milton
God is Waiting
feeling of surface joy to us that is easily distinguished
from true Joy and Peace. It is our fleshly eyes that trick
us into thinking that we have more than the next man
(or Woman). The fortunate part about this concept is
that when we fall off the wayside of the road, we have
full access to the Father in Heaven that can guide
us when we get lost and he sets our fleshly eyes on
the right path to bring the Spirit inside of us to the
forefront of our everyday lives. When we begin to appreciate the Spirit of God that lives within us, those
“Things” that we regard so highly become second in
our natural sense. And when we are exposed to those
“Have-Not’s” of life, we are reminded of how much God
has been a part of the individual blessing of our daily
lives. In our busy days and sometimes nights, we push
through life and we don’t truly get a sufficient chance
to appreciate what we have access to. So when we see
those “Have-Not’s” in their habitat, God’s spirit inside
of us uses that particular scene as an abject inspiration
to humility.
By It seems that an awful large amount of our friends
and family have been taken by the popularity of Tyler
Perry’s Cable television series, “The Have’s and the

But for those of us that could be considered privileged, the “Things” that we have and have access
to are mere tangibles. They tend to bring a certain

Now…let me ask you this…Does this commentary help
you to understand that God presents blessings to us
all in varied scenarios that are catered to our individual
relationship with Him through Jesus Christ? Well…He
does. He sends His blessings to you in your own individual language via your relationship with Him. And it’s
up to you to either, receive that blessing and respond
to the opportunity, or, as I mentioned earlier…”Miss the
Boat”!
And here’s a side-note: When we see those people
that we may think are not as fortunate as we seem to
be, our first idea…our first course of action should be to
find out if there is any way that we can help them. God
IS watching you!
