A tribute for Mother’s Day
To my wife...
By: Keith Foster
My wife and I raised two boys together. They are both grown, have lives of their own and are wonderful young men. I give my wife, Kimm, the credit. She is the perfect counterbalance to me.
As I struggle to put into words the admiration I have for her as a mother, wife and person, I find myself
overwhelmed with gratitude for the role she has played in my life and for the children she gave us.
When we were raising the boys Kimm was patient when I was too quick to react.
She was generous when I was selfish.
Kimm always made time for the boys, especially when I was too busy. She was kind when I was
harsh. Kimm taught them culture. She taught them to compromise and build relationships.
I wish I was better with words. All I feel inside is love for this woman. She is the glue that holds me
together. Without her I wouldn’t have the wonderful life I have and my beautiful family. I owe my very
existence to her.
Happy Mother’s Day to the most wonderful woman I know.
