Mars Davis is a wife, mother, teacher and
creator. Davis is Washington DC metropolitan
area native but she is originally from North
Carolina. Davis is a representational artist who
focuses on the slight movement of the human
figure and complex color assortment. Davis is
a self-taught visual artist who primarily works
with acrylic, mixed media and water color. Mars
Davis creations can be found in private collections, in books and on display. Davis began
sketching and using charcoal but felt that color
would bring the sketches to life.

My beautiful creations portray the
brightly lit view of the world around me.
I see people entranced with motion. I
consume the various vibrant colors which
exuberate from us all. I try to capture
the beauty in the simple sights that captivate me. I see the color of movements
and hear the voice of color.
