The Sax Man Story By: Virginia Lynn As far back as he can remember, Tyson C (or Tyce) has been around music. It all started back when he was a kid at his parents’ house. Out of sheer boredom, he started to play the upright piano they had. After seeing a music book his sister once owned, he not only learned to play a little bit but also learned the beginning fundamentals of sheet music. From elementary to high school, he developed skills through visual and auditory learning. He performed in the concert band, jazz band, and the marching band.
