PEANUT BUTTER PIE
The perfect dessert for holiday parties

As a young mother in the 80’s, cooking was not one of my strong suits. I was
invited to go to a dessert party to sample many types of goodies. Among the
desserts, there was this wonderful peanut butter pie. The cookbook was available
(for only $1) so I had to buy it and make this pie at home. The result became
a family favorite, and one that has been requested for holiday dinners, but is
delicious anytime of the year. You’ll be amazed at how easy, but how good it is.
Ingredients:
½ cup of Peanut Butter
1 cup of Powdered Sugar
1 container of Cool Whip
1 Graham Cracker Pie Crust
1 package of cook and serve vanilla pudding, the 4 serving size (NOT instant
pudding)
Mix ½ cup of peanut butter and 1 cup powdered sugar with a mixer. Put ¾ of the
mixture into the graham cracker crust. Cook the package of vanilla pudding and
pour over peanut butter mixture while hot. Let cool. Top with cool whip and add
remaining peanut butter mixture on top.
It’s that easy, so enjoy!
