Seven years ago, when I was a practicing
attorney, I never would have dreamed
of being a model even though that was
my childhood dream. However, I had
always been a bellydancer and this led
to a professional career. One thing led
to another and before I knew it, I began a
modeling career in my 30’s!
I finally get to realize my dream and
encourage others to reach their dreams.
This is because I still teach belly dance
to women at a shelter where they face
issues such as domestic abuse and
substance recovery. I encourage my students to reach for their dreams because
it is never too late.
Modeling has allowed me to be a guest
star on television shows and commercials. I have done many recent projects
including a fitness campaign, fashion
shoots, and cosplay. I will do anything
for the right look including in a cemetery
at night or in freezing cold water in the
fall.
I love to do shoots that are different and
unconventional – just like me. I have
been told I am one of the few models
who can pull off any look. I have a fan
page at: www.facebook.com/lauramillsknox.
