Simperium Issue 4: May 2020 | Page 93

Before I started to create, I used to be a quiet user of the website since 2009. I remember I wanted to make my Sims 2 look nicer and I was just new on the CC ground. For many years I was watching others to create and wanted to be like them quietly. Eventually (as I mentioned before) I started to upload in 2016 but that was only for fun. I began to seriously think about being a creator at the end of 2018 – beginning of 2019. I gave up an idea of a regular employment to do this and with a persistent hard work and frequency of upload (plus my husband blessings ) I was noticed by TSR admins and they offered me a Select Artist title I that always wanted to have about four months ago. I consider creating CC as one of my dream jobs. ♥ I don’t consider myself as a builder anymore. I like to build to this day, but at some point I got the realisation that there are better builders out in the world who should get the recognition they deserve. I am a much happier CC creator, and I feel better just creating walls and floors. Maybe one day I will start doing other 2D graphic content, but for now, spicing up interiors and exteriors with my ideas is what gives me fun and fulfilment. I remember a lot of things from my Sims games… I can’t remember my very first build, but I clearly recall my first TSR build which is still up for a download. It is a base game and no CC lot called Sweet Escape. I don’t build new lots anymore unfortunately, but I used to search the web for ideas and sometimes I came up with some ideas myself. When it comes to my CC – I take inspiration in 95% from modern architecture I browse in my spare time. Sometimes I like to make something funky and different – I did pool water bases, snow textures for base game users, sand floors, etc. I like both residential and community builds. I like my Sims to have a nice house and a little bit of fun outside their homes. SIMPERIUM 93
