Simperium Issue 4: May 2020 | Page 103

The only reason I can imagine I would quit playing the Sims is if I literally was unable, such as not having a computer or something like that. It's a part of my daily life now and I can't picture life without it. My favorite thing about the Sims 4 so far is the build tools. I find them very intuitive. I have gone back to TS3 and TS2 and found building so tedious after being used to TS4 build tools. There are some things I struggle with in TS4: A. My Sims easily make money and it's hard to spend it all. B. There are few things that occur randomly or I am surprised by. C. Despite the emotion system and traits, my sims don't feel particularly unique. For the improvement of TS4, I would like to see more traits or other systems that make the each Sim feel more distinct and different from one another. I am curious about Sims 5 but I try not to have any expectations because I believe that is how I could be disappointed. I am sure I would find positives and negatives if I compare it to previous versions, so I would TRY to appreciate it as its own thing. Maybe easier said than done. SIMPERIUM The Sims 4 community has been a very positive experience for me overall. I became very interactive on Twitter within the past year as I really got into building. Everyone is very helpful and supportive. I am so inspired by all the wonderful Simmers! I really appreciate the sense of community I have there, including how much the gurus interact with us. That feels very special to me. You can find me on Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. ฀TWITTER: emily_brissett ❤ YOUTUBE: emilybrissett ฀FACEBOOK: emilybrissett ฀INSTAGRAM: emily_brissett PS.
