Heyyo, my name is Nikyra Howard, I am 21
years old, and I currently work as a Warehouse
Assistant. I reside in the one and only Motor
City (woot woot)! Besides gaming, I love
cheesecake, history, Astronomy, and my cat
Jack. I've been a Simmer for a little over a year
now. The diverse personalities and stories I've
given my Sims is what keeps me coming back. I
try to make them unique and give them depth,
and that's interesting to me.
So, I got really into The Sims when Sims
Freeplay was kind of a big deal. The Sims 4 was
released onto consoles finally, and that's when I
got into it, so I am a little biased towards TS4,
but I have respect for Freeplay, as well as The
Sims 3. Even though I've never played TS3, I
know enough to realize TS3 is superior in some
ways.
When it comes to Sims Gameplay, I like longer,
drawn out gameplay. I form attachments to
almost all the characters I create, I try to give
each of them an interesting and deep
personality, and I like to stick with them for a
while. My characters build everything from the
ground up, and they work for their success.
Grinding for it feels more rewarding than using
a cheat to get it. No shade to those that do, it's
just what I prefer! platforms. There are some unique Simmers out
there with interesting stories, amazing content,
and beautiful characters. You know who you are.
If I ever had to quit playing The Sims, it would
definitely due to how much time I spend on it!
I'm sure you know how dangerous The Sims
can be, and I would quit to free up time so I
could be more productive. What the Sims 4 needs for improvement is better
stability, more bug fixes, and making toddlers
capable of swimming again! In all seriousness, I
think one of the biggest things I would do to
improve the game is create more diverse content.
There are still some communities not being
represented well enough in The Sims, whether
that's through hairstyles, fashion, or features. I
think The Sims has done a good job so far, but
there's definitely room for improvement in my
opinion.
What I like the most about The Sims 4 is the
custom content. I love how creative the content
creators are! It's impressive to see how much
content there is, and how massive the
community is within The Sims 4, across all
12
There were small but noticeable details in The
Sims 3 that didn't make it into The Sims 4 that
made the game feel more lifelike and alive, and I
hate that they were cut. I also notice a few bugs
that haven't been patched yet that I'd love to see
gone. Also, why can't toddlers swim? Ridiculous.
