The Dragons , No . 3 in the ICGSA Class 3A preseason poll , opened the season with a bang . Creek outscored the visiting Mustangs 32-5 in the first quarter and never looked back in its 39-point win .
Senior transfer Marissa Gasaway had a double-double ( 18 points , 11 rebounds ) in her debut , while sisters Alana and Kynidi Striverson netted 14 points apiece and Jaclyn Emly tallied 12 for Creek . Sydney Sierota added nine points for the Dragons , who had 10 different players in the scoring column .
Kynidi Striverson stuffed the stat sheet with nine assists , four steals and three rebounds while Alana Striverson corralled eight boards and dished out three assists .
SILVER CREEK 63 , BROWN COUNTY 36 Nov . 7 , 2020 at Silver Creek
Gasaway had 18 points and 15 rebounds to lead the host Dragons to a 27-point triumph .
Kynidi Striverson contributed 16 points , eight assists and seven steals while her older sister , Alana , added 13 points for the Dragons , who led 17-7 at the end of the first quarter and 32-18 at halftime .

Emly hit six 3-pointers on her way to a game-high 23 points as the Dragons downed the host Owls by 26 .
The Kentucky Wesleyan recruit hit 8 for 13 from the field , including 6 of 10 from long range , and 1 for 1 from the free throw line .
Emly also had a game-best six steals to go along with a trio
