Studies have shown that when the moon is full, emergency rooms are busier, violent crime rates increase, there are more traffic accidents, more women go into labour (especially around a Supermoon*), patients in psychiatric hospitals act out more, and there are more natural disasters. Are we really that “loonie” around a full moon? According to Farmers’ Almanac’s long-standing proprietary formula, when the moon is in the appropriate phase and place in the zodiac, it’s widely believed that activities can also be more fruitful or lead to improved results.
