Gluten-free + dairy-free
Quinoa Millet Breakfast
Ingredients
• 1 cup quinoa
• 1 cup millet
• 4-1/2 cups of water
• pinch of sea salt
Make
it the
night
before
!
Directions
1. Rinse grains and combine with water and salt. Bring
to a boil, then simmer for about 15 minutes or until
water is completely absorbed.
Ingredients for each serving portion:
• 1 cup of cooked mixture (above)
• 1/4 cup almond milk (warm or cold)
• 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
• 1/4 cup fresh or thawed frozen berries
• 1 Tbsp. unsalted seeds, such as pumpkin, sesame,
sunflower (or a combination of all!)
• 1 Tbsp. real maple syrup
• optional: 1 tsp. Chia seeds/flax seeds/hemp seeds
