It’s natural to feel a little more sluggish during winter
months, but for 6 perfect of the population, a more serious
type of depression arises: Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
One theory for the development of SAD is that the
increased hours of darkness disrupts the brain chemicals
and affects mood. SAD can cause feelings of depression,
trouble sleeping, weight loss/poor appetite, or weight gain
(cravings for/over-indulging in carbohydrates), and agitation
or anxiety.
Vitamin D – Studies at the University of Toronto
indicate that adding a good-quality Vitamin D3 (as opposed
to D2) can significantly increase mood and vitality by using
