LOOKING AFTER JOINTS
5 Worst Foods for Joint Pain
J oint pain can be improved with proper medication, diet,
some forms of alternative medicine, and regular exercise.
There are also many foods that help fight joint pain, such as
turmeric, ginger and garlic, however there are other foods
that can cause arthritis-based and gout pain to increase. These
are the top 5 foods you want to stay away from, at least until
you find relief:
Red and processed meats – due
to their content of chemicals and
preservatives such as nitrites. Eat
sparingly (once per week), eat less
amounts, choose a more natural
product without preservatives.
Skip deli meats altogether.
Milk products – Their high level
of the protein Casein, triggers
pain and inflammation. Instead
try a regiment of almond or hemp
milk, margarine, tofu and other
products.
Eggs – Eating eggs regularly can
trigger increased swelling and
pain in the joints, because of
the arachidonic acid in the yolks
which produce prostaglandins, an
inflammatory agent. Eat sparingly,
and remove the yolks eating only
the whites.
How to Remove Uric Acid in Joints
with Apple Cider Vinegar
C onsuming Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) the right way
cleanses the blood from toxins and boosts blood flow. This in
turn helps break up the uric acid crystals and prevents them
from reocurrence.
The main reason why this vinegar is so effective in the
treatment and prevention of gout and arthritis pain is the
compound it contains called acetic acid, which fights uric
acid, helping to flush it out of the body.
Users report their joint pain drastically reduced within few
hours of drinking the vinegar, and others say their experienced
gout pain relief only after few days.
What’s more, ACV offers antioxidant and anti-inflammatory
properties and helps restore the normal pH levels in the body.
But, you have to make sure you use raw, unpasteurized,
undistilled ACV without any additives, available in the natural
foods section of your supermarket, or at a health food store.
If in doubt, ask for assistance.
Here’s how to remove uric acid in joints
with the help of Apple Cider Vinegar:
Pour one or two tablespoons of the right type of Apple Cider
Vinegar into a glass of water. Mix well and drink 2 to 3 times
daily on an empty stomach (works especially well first thing
in the morning, before consuming anything).
Beer – Heavy beer drinkers have a
higher risk of developing gout and
rheumatoid arthritis, because of its
high content of gluten and purine,
which is converted to uric acid.
Refined flours and grains – Foods
like pasta, rice, and white bread,
are potent inflammatory agents
because of their high-glycemic
properties. Instead, replace with
gluten-free breads, coconut oils,
nuts, seeds, and quinoa.
