Seedlings
Cinnamon is a fungus fighter. Dust your fresh soil with
cinnamon and help prevent seeds from dampening off.
Heal plant wounds
Just apply cinnamon to plant stem, such as when you prune
roses, to promote rooting hormones in your plants.
Ant deterrent
We like cinnamon, but ants don’t. Sprinkle around your
garden beds to keep ants away. Try sprinkling some cinnamon
around your home’s entrances and ants will stay away there
too. Works well against gnats and house flies.
Tried Vinegar Yet?
Indoor plants
Cinnamon helps get rid of mould in indoor plants, plus it
helps them flourish! Cinnamon can be diluted with water in
an spray bottle and sprayed directly onto plant leaves to keep
them healthy. A light dusting of cinnamon around the top
of soil works well too.
Lawn mushrooms
Got pesky mushrooms growing on your lawn? Stop buying
chemicals, instead sprinkle some cinnamon on the base of
the mushrooms and watch them disappear.
Before
Many commercial weed killers are just
watered-down vinegar. Rather than spending
your money on these products, make
your own: Mix white vinegar and add one
tablespoon of clove or orange essential oil,
which help mixture stick to the plants
better to increase effectiveness.
