Candice is a retired dentist who has been dancing and performing for 14
years and often performs as part of The Arabian Jewels troupe. She says that
belly dancing is truly a woman’s dance – created by women in ancient times,
and that women who take up belly dancing feel that they and their bodies are
made more beautiful and fit by the experience, which also builds confidence.
Candice dances with several women in their 70’s and 80’s, a true inspiration
in our community.

Frank worked in the communications industry for over 30 years, until
he was downsized at age 60 and spent over a year seeking comparable
employment. A photographer since his 20’s and with the stress of
looking for employment out of the way, newfound free time gave
Frank the impetus to put some serious effort into his passion once
again. Now Frank works part time while spending his most precious
time photographing abandoned places, early morning landscapes and
people in their environment. A true inspiration in our community.

Hope loves “dressing up”, and has since she was a very little girl – perhaps
this is why she became a Drama Specialist, and used those skills during her
decades of elementary school teaching. Now as a retiree, Hope still jumps at
the chance to act or model, believes life is full of opportunities to experience,
and they’re all on her bucket list... and she’s checking each one off, one by
one! A true inspiration in our community.
