SHOPPING WITH PURPOSE The amenities at The Village of Tansley Woods in Burlington was designed in such a way to inspire a sense of community. Once a week, Ted (left) shops for items to be resold at the residence’s general store, and items such as fresh baked breads –also made on premises– are available for residents to purchase. It’s all about offering convenience and gaining a sense of purpose for those residents who volunteer at the store, with surplus benefitting residents’ special events.
