It’s a great place to monkey around! At a young 48 years old, Susan Cranstoun almost died when she suffered a massive heart attack while away on business. Any attempt at physical activity was limited by permanent heart failure as a result of the attack. The implantation of a defibrillator in 2007 and an upgrade in 2012 gave Susan some much needed peace of mind. Then 10 years ago Susan discovered Yoga and its long-term benefits for mind and body, so she became a certified Yoga instructor and will begin teaching a class for seniors this June 17th at 9:30am in Oakville. The cost for a class is only $7/hour, as Susan will try to reach as many people as possible. Silver & Gold would like to congratulate Susan on her remarkable recovery, and her efforts to help others learn the many health benefits of Yoga. For more information Susan may be reached at (905) 469-3309 or by visiting www.sunyoga.com More articles, recipes & resources online! www.silvergoldmagazine.ca
