Medium cost: Peel + Stick Adhesive Strips. After wood has been thoroughly cleaned, add some peel and stick adhesive abrasive strips to the front of the steps. Some of these strips may even come with a small fluore scent strip, which helps in visually differentiating between one step and the next.
