We are members of the Center for Palliative and Supportive Care , in the Division of Geriatrics , Gerontology and Palliative Care in the School of Medicine at University of Alabama , Birmingham ( UAB ).
We are a team of faculty and staff - doctors , nurses , social workers , psychologists , chaplains , researchers and educators - who are passionate about palliative and supportive care . Our vision is to promote palliative and supportive care throughout the Southeast , and to do this in a variety of ways including our bi-annual Summit , website , listserves , and many more ideas , most of which will come from you !
