WELCOME TO THE NEW
SIGNAGE
P
recisely 17 months ago we
promised we will be deciding
what news or industry
information is and how it is presented
to you, based on the simple truth, we
also said we will endeavor to inform
you on a broader context, champion
un-bias true events and facts, be the
moral enemy of speculation and
nonsense.
Yes we have been hard at work, we had
broken News and told stories that
would never be found anywhere aside
on our pages. We have also had our ups
and down, mostly as a startup trying to
break the status quo. We had met with
stone walls in some quarters and
received well in others: all in all it has
been a very tremendous journey.
Going forward as a media brand, with
better access to and understanding of
the outdoor advertising landscape
than anyone – which is our bias. It is
time for us to widen our scope, tell the
story through our impeccable taste for
pretty design, prints –yes we are

an idea into a multiplatform news and
information tool.
Hence forth, we are going to write and

tell the stories the way they are, ask the
right questions from the right people
and bring our reportage and finding to
you; the right audience.
This change will reflect through our
coverage and cover stories, either on
our website, prints or digital platforms
In this issue we will be looking at
History of Billboard advertising
legislation and policies around the
world and bring it home to how it affect
the industry here in Nigeria. this will
enable us bring to the fore front issues
of legislation in our subsequent
editions
We would also be introducing some
other new component into the mix,
starting with this edition, giving
importance to what is important.
This is the New Signage.
