GEO 301 CULTURAL GEOGRAPHY I 3 Examination of how people in the United States , Latin America , Russian Federation , and India live . Students will explore the places and cultures that are home to the people of these regions and countries , examining the interaction between peoples and their environments . Students will develop a geographical perspective on economic activities evaluating the relative influence of location , movement , and connections as well as the significance of the geographical context for understanding global issues and events .
