took the next GoBus to Dahab after getting into a Taxi and leaving the airport. I arrived the next morning at 6 A.M. waking into one of the only cafes open ordering breakfast and coffee with my travelers bag and sleeping bag. After a talk with the waiter I got a room to stay n for free for the first two weeks. The next day I made a deal with a restaurant where I would be rewarded with food and eventually room and board in exchange for my artistic skills to renovate the place, computer skills to build a website and promote their Facebook page, and people skills in organizing events. It was the latter of the 3 that got me in touch with Bob (lower left), and eventually his brother Medhat (lower right).
Bob is the creator of Sinai Gate, a touring company for tourists, as well as residents in Dahab for people who would like to dive, hike, and go on 2-3 day camping trips. I got to accompany Bob on a few of these trips, as well as helping him reel in potential customers. One customer I brought to him who was a couchsurfer that I met on the border of Israel and Egypt after I was kicked out of Isreal only spending a day there. The reason for my trip was personal, but I was also supposed to meet someone there Bob was going to talk to about a partnership in bringing Israeli people to Sinai to enjoy his list of adventures. After a 6 hour wait and 2 hour wait I finally entered Eilat around 8 p.m. and started walking along the shoreline getting free food from a group of travelers from the Czech Republic and enjoying a campfire and music with a group for germany further down. it being time until morning II
