her, the same dream twice, what are the odds? Laura decided to call her mother later that day to
discuss the dreams and see if she had any insight into why they might be occurring. It just so
happened that her mother was pretty good at reading the tarot cards and the thought that these
dreams might be coming as a warning did not seem to far stretched.
It was midday and she was alone in the house when she called her mother. Pleasantries quickly put aside she related the dreams to her mother. Laura had 4 brothers who all lived within half an hour drive of her parents. It was during her conversation that she realized that her younger brother was the only one of her siblings that had two sons; the oldest was brown haired while the youngest was blonde. During their conversation Laura’s mother related to her that this same brother had recently moved into an apartment complex and they did not have phone service set up yet. It was quickly decided that Laura’s mother would contact her brother to learn more about his surroundings as she had not been over to the new apartment yet. She related to her mother that she had fears that maybe the boy had some sort of sight or hearing problem that was not detected yet and could not off seen or heard the train coming until it was too late. Laura lived in another state than her family and did not know about her brother’s new apartment and its surroundings. This weighed heavily on her mind in the passing days. Five days had passed since her conversation with her mother and the same dream, this
time the train was much too close for comfort and there was a sense of urgency this time, a heavy
feeling of anxiety. She stayed awake the rest of the night deciding to prepare for the following
day by getting her kids ready for school.
her mother and the same dream, this time the train was much too close for comfort and there was a sense of urgency this time, a heavy feeling of anxiety. She stayed awake the rest of the night deciding to prepare for the following day by getting her kids ready for school. Time seemed to crawl by, her immediate thoughts were to call her mother as soon as her children left for school and her husband left for work. It seems she didn’t have to wait long for her mother called her shortly after everyone had left the house. Her fears were confirmed, her brother’s oldest son was diagnosed as being legally blind and train tracks did run along the backside of the property where they were living. Although the property was surrounded by a gate, it was never locked and a wandering child could find their way down the hill onto the tracks. She was later told that her brother installed a lock on the gate and did not let his son play outside unsupervised.
Today, Jamie has grown into a fine young man and is looking forward to a career in auto
mechanics. We cannot say why God wanted Jamie to be here but we all feel that he has impacted our lives in a positive way and that although the future is yet to be written we can, with the help of God see glimpses and warnings of disasters that can be avoided if only we, the ones who are
privy to the information, are able to interpret and apply the knowledge we have.
